Paul has over 35 years of tying experience. Fly fishing is his passion, as is tying flies. Most of these flies are geared towards the San Juan River. He specializes in nymph patterns and these nymphs have fooled trout from Maine to California. He will be adding more freestone and lake patterns in the near future. If you have a pattern you do not see here and would like him to tie, send him an email and he will get on it.
**I am happy to announce that I am adding patterns for Paul Asbell. He is a guide on Oak Creek here in Arizona. Please check out his new patterns that we are now offering**

Paul Asbell is the newest member of the Roughrider Guide Flies team. He is a very talented fly tier and custom rod builder. He is an avid flyfisherman, and has fished all over in Arizona for the most part. He formed Oak Creek Custom Rods in 2006.
